April 22

12pm-1:30pm

Hands-on Class: Mozzarella, Burrata, Ricotta Making

Watch as Tarry Market Executive Chef  Jon Katz demonstrates the making of mozzarella, burrata and ricotta from scratch. Then participate in a hands-on workshop to make your own mozzarella. Taste all three cheeses on their own, as well as in dishes that incorporate each cheese. Leave the class with take-home menus and recipes as well as your own mozzarella. Participants will receive a Tarry Market 20% discount shopping card.

April 29

Guided Olive Oil Tasting & Lunch with Grove and Vine

Please join us for a 3-course lunch with Nicholas Coleman, Chief Oleologist at Eataly and co-founder of Grove and Vine. Coleman will take guests on a guided tour of ancient olive groves and the process of single-estate olive oil making. Guests will taste three different single-estate olive oils harvested in the fall of 2016. Event attendees will receive a 20% discount on the purchase of the olive oils sampled.

Wine Class: Rosé Wines

Sample four distinct rosé wines during an educational conversation with sommelier and Tarry Wine General Manager Morgan Pruitt. Cheese and Salumi will be served!

12pm-1:30pm

Guided Balsamic Tasting & Lunch with Italian Products

Join James Kessous (Italian Products USA) for a 4-course light lunch featuring balsamic vinegar. Kessous will take guests on a guided tour of balsamic vinegar making and taste four balsamic vinegars. Event attendees will receive a 20% discount on the purchase of the balsamic vinegars sampled.

May 13

12pm-5pm

Spring Beer Festival

This family-friendly event includes tastings of Italian and local brews for the adults and a spring-inspired lunch (choice of chicken schnitzel or lamb burger served with a side of risi e bisi arancini & ramp pesto. Kids eat hot dogs with the same sides). Adult admission includes 10 beer tickets. Additional beer tickets may be purchased during the event for $1 each and can be redeemed for one pour at any participating beer station.

May 13

5pm-6:30pm

Wine Class: Sicilian Wines
Sample four distinct Sicilian wines during an educational conversation with sommelier and Tarry Wine General Manager Morgan Pruitt. Cheese and Salumi will be served!

Chef's Table: Tarry Market Rotisserie Meats

Watch Executive Chef Jon Katz demonstrate the making of porchetta from scratch, how to cook a prime rib, and how to cut a rotisserie chicken like a pro. The demo will be followed by lunch featuring Tarry Market signature meats. Participants will receive take home recipes and a Tarry Market 20% discount shopping card.

Hands-on Class: Focaccia & Pizza Making

Watch as Executive Chef Jon Katz demonstrates the making of focaccia and pizza dough. Then get your hands dirty and make your own pies. Taste two different pizzas, two different focaccias and take home your own dough. Participants will receive a Tarry Market 20% discount shopping card.

June 10

12pm-1:30pm

Hands-on Class: Gnocchi and Pasta Making
Watch as Executive Chef Jon Katz makes the perfect pasta dough, then get your hands dirty making orecchiette and gnocchi. Enjoy a tasting of three pasta dishes and take home a few recipes. Participants will receive a Tarry Market 20% discount shopping card. 

June 17

Wine Class: Pinot Noir Wine Study

An introductory study and tasting of four distinct pinot noir wines with sommelier and Tarry Wine General Manager Morgan Pruitt. Cheese and Salumi will be served!

Guided Truffle Tasting & Lunch with Urbani

Enjoy a 4-course lunch prepared with Urbani truffle products (truffle oils, honey, salt, pesto) while enjoying an educational conversation with an Urbani representative. Founded around 1850, Urbani is one of the world's oldest and most respected purveyors of fresh truffles.
